Lacoste is a sporting brand that has its origins in the tennis industry since its inception. It is well-known for its alligator emblem, which is often printed on polo shirts. Today, I will take a deeper look at their men’s fragrance range and provide the best Lacoste cologne selections for males. Finally, I chose five products from this brand that I believe are the finest of the collection
What are the Best Lacoste Perfumes for Men?
Top Lacoste Cologne for Summer
Lacoste Essential produces a lively and refreshing smell that is ideal for casual use throughout the summertime. Essential combines citrus and woodsy/earthy elements to create a really unique men’s fragrance.
The citrus notes are quite evident at the top, yet they are not overpowering. Instead, bergamot and tangerine give it a vibrant personality.
Lacoste Essential has a highly fresh, soapy perfume as it progresses. It has green leafy notes with a peppery spice and patchouli undertone. Essential is a softer scent with a zesty citrus note and an intriguing tomato leaf.
Because this lacoste cologne is mixed, it might be challenging to differentiate tones at times. As a result, the projection is mediocre, but the scent is fantastic. Wear in the spring and summer for a casual or workplace environment.
Best Pick for Winter
Lacoste has created a lovely manly mixture of fruity and woodsy undertones. It’s a mild smell that’ll be perfect for gentlemen in the spring. Apple, vanilla, juniper, Cinnamon, rum, and plum are among the notes.
Lacoste Pour Homme begins with a fantastic plum note that is complemented by citrus and crispy apple. The subsequent notes aren’t especially powerful, but they do beautifully contrast the acidity of the plum.
A few minutes in, it grows warmer and richer, with vanilla and rum peeking through. There’s no need to be concerned about the rum note; it’s not strong enough to transform this into a wild cologne.
The sillage of this lacoste cologne is mild to moderate, making it suitable for workplace use, and it has a fresher profile—Vanilla and plum, with mild spices and a pleasant woody background.
Most Unique Fragrance
Lacoste Style in Play is a mild, long-lasting, and refreshing fragrance that is sure to satisfy. It is appealing and has the potential to strike a chord in a number of settings. Patchouli, cedar leaves, green apple, white musk, jasmine, woods, and vetiver are among the notes.
Style in Play stands out from the crowd with its woodsy perfume combined with a similar apple accent to Lacoste Pour Homme. However, that apple is amplified to provide a delicious contrast to the green and fresh woods found at the base of Style in Play.
The dry-down gets muskier, but the cedar and pine notes stay to make this one clean and appealing. Style in Play is a rather distinctive fragrance for a big name, yet this lacoste cologne never becomes unappealing.
Most Popular Lacoste
Lacoste Blanc is not an overwhelming perfume, yet it has a lot of mystery and alluring attraction to it. Blanc is a beautiful blend of woodsy and citrus tones that is unmistakably masculine.
The grapefruit note dominates the beginning with intensity. I adore how this one makes me feel bright and energetic. It is complemented with a suede/cedar blend and a subtle floral scent given by ylang-ylang and tuberose. Those flowers aren’t overpowering, but it’s lovely to see them in a men’s perfume.
This lacoste cologne is probably my favorite fragrance from the L.12.12. collection. It has a vibrant citrus note, plenty of sweetness, as well as some earthy notes to provide solidity. It makes good use of tuberose and ylang-ylang while maintaining its smooth masculine credentials with leather and suede.
Best Spicy and Herbal Fragrance
Lacoste Rouge is a fantastic men’s cologne with a spicier character than any of the other Lacoste perfumes on our list. It features a wide range of notes, from woodsy to citrus to spicy. It’s not overwhelming.
L.12.12. Rouge begins with a truly fascinating usage of fruity notes combined with tea. A juicy mango note is complemented by a sugary orange liqueur and a herbal tea flavor. This lacoste cologne is pretty clean and warm, with a strong cardamom flavor and a warmth from pepper and ginger.
The dry-down is my favorite aspect of this fragrance. It takes on a woodsy, earthy, and peppery flavor. The fruit tones are still there, but everything works much better. I wish it had a little more punch since it would be perfect for the summer. Rouge, on the other hand, is worth a shot if you can buy it inexpensively.
It’s unique in that it includes orange liqueur, mango, and tea. This lacoste cologne produces a distinct feel and a breezy start, accompanied by hot pepper and cardamom. Mango, Cardamom, Mandarin Orange, Rooibos Tea, Pepper, and Woodsy Notes are among the notes.
